Boz Scaggs
The Festival at a Sandpoint – Saturday, August 8th

boz scaggsThe Boz

First off, the first concert that I ever saw was Boz Scaggs in the Spokane Coliseum, June '77. It was my 14th birthday, it was awesome. Now here we are, some 32 years later and Boz sounds just as great as he did back then. The surroundings could not have been more spectacular.

Nestled in the Selkirk Mountains and surrounded by Lake Pend Oreille the setting is perfect for live music under the stars. Boz and his band sounded great! His 40 plus years of performing translated well, as they were as slick and polished beyond imagination.

The hits were well represented "Georgia" "Lowdown" and of course "Lido Shuffle" got the Hippies and Rednecks groovin’ AND a-movin’. It was a great time and lot of fun.

If you get a chance, get up to Sandpoint. Check out the Festival. You'll dig it.
