 2008 American Idol contestant Jason Castro brought his talent and dreadlocks to the KCDA stage for a special acoustic show for about 50 people. He performed songs off his new EP “The Love Uncompromised EP” and a cover of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen in the style of Jeff Buckley.
Speaking of covers of “Hallelujah” later on Friday night I was watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics and K.D. Lang did a very heart felt and amazing cover of the Cohen classic. Thanks to our friends at 103.1 KCDA for inviting us to the performance.
