Keith Urban
Monday, September 14th at the Spokane Arena

keith urbanThe arena was a few hundred shy of Sold Out and full of boots, cowboy hats, and the nicest people around. Country music lovers are very friendly and are at a show to have a good time. The arena was a sea of all ages with plenty of young girls holding signs that read We Love You Keith!

When Keith came out on stage he said “this is your night… do what you want too… security be nice to these people and we’ll all have a good time.” From there on out there was dancing, singing, and laughter. I walked around the arena and watched from different sections and it didn’t matter if people were on the floor in the 100’s or at the very top in the 200’s everyone looked like they were having a blast. Like they were at the best concert they have been to all summer.

My seat was original in row B of 105 which was an awesome seat and I felt close but the stage looked cooler from the very top row in any 200 section. You could see all of the lights. The stage must of had 200 lights and they really used spot lights as a cool effect. The stage was covered in ramps and there was a mini stage at the back of the sound board. The ramps were a simple effect because it was fun to watch the 5 other guys in the band switch places and run around. It was high energy.

keith urbanBack to the mini stage, you knew Keith was going to make it back there at some point and people were slowly figuring it out on the floor because by the time he made it to the stage there were probably a good 200 people surrounding it. As he made his way from the front of the stage to the back he was patted, caressed, and touched all over. I saw a few girls that looked like they were going to pass out. When he got to the mini stage he yelled “who’s got the good seats now!”

Keith Urban managed to acknowledge every section and put on an entertaining laid back concert. The crowd was jacked to be there and that energy was spread through out the night. Not only is Keith Urban good looking but has smooth country vocals and can play the guitar. One of the better country shows I have been too all year.
