Little Big Town w/ Kate and Kacey |
|---|
Down Home CountryI put on my cowboy boots and headed over to the Knitting Factory on Wednesday, February 18th with Matt and Jason to see Little Big Town! When we arrived it was packed full of people from ages 15 to 65 and there was a fun positive energy in the crowd and it was starting to get exciting! The opening act was Big Machine recording artists Kate and Kacey hoped onto stage within a few minutes of being there and these Taylor Swift look-a-likes were not only cute, but talented as well. Within the first 30 seconds of their first song the twin girls were having fun and it was their 21st Birthday... like I have said before it makes the world of a difference when the artists are having a good time. The two sang, played the guitar and harmonica making it a fun twin duo to warm up the night... I am sure in a few months these girls will be on your top 40 list so look out for them!
Little Big Town was wonderful! I had heard they were a fun band to see live and they upheld to that! There were 7 people on stage and when I looked away from them it sounded crystal clear, amazing harmonies - everything was on tune and everyone in the crowd was singing along. I don't know a lot about Little Big Town but Spokane sure does. Not only was the all ages crowd singing along but some were dancing and a few grinding like it was a Snoop Dog Concert but hey what every floats their boats. What surprised me most about the evening was how LBT tore "The Chain" apart, it honestly sounded better then Fleetwood Mac. Overall I would definitely see LBT again, and I would recommend you do the same; they are full of energy and for a country show, it's a lot of fun & they are a very talented bunch. But when you go don't forget to wear your cowboy boots and get ready to have a good time. (click here to see all the photos) |
