The intelligent & old yet sexy punk rock Henry Rollins stopped by the Knitting Factory, and I was very excited to see him “do” Spoken Word.I don’t think my jaw has dropped so many times at one show. What exactly is Spoken Word… pretty much Henry talking/mouthing off about Politics, life experiences, and what the heck is going on in our world. He has so many stories about Pakistan, Laos, Lebanon, etc… it was refreshing to hear someone tell the truth about those cultures and what’s going on in our world. 2 ½ hours later, he ended his show and reminded people to Vote on November 4th and to check out his video H is for Hunger (I recommend you do the same). So as Henry says Go Fucking Vote, and Live your Life, you don’t want to die sleeping.
