Becky and Maya are two badass chick’s that blew away the 70 people or so at Mootsy’s around 11pm on the night before Halloween. Who are Becky and Maya you ask? Becky: rich blues vocals grave guitar riffs. Maya: extreme pounding rock drummer. Together The Pack A.D. from Canada.

I haven’t stopped listening to “Blackout” this morning. These chic’s know what the hell they are doing. Their music is everything blues and rock but with a punk flair, there is some serious edge. Kind of like when you pet a kitten and its sandpaper tongue licks your hand. It’s nice but rough. I love that this is a female duo because you don’t see GIRLS rock this hard and have such a badass perilous persona doing it.

People were standing on chairs just to catch them rocking their instruments with killer notes and beats. Would love to see these girls again. They aren’t something you are going to see any day of the week. It’s not what typically flows through the Spokane music scene and I fucking loved it. They had a great set with plenty of songs and like I said before people’s jaws were dropped.
