Tyrone Wells
Friday, November 13th at the Knitting Factory

tyrone wellsYet again the Knitting Factory was full of people; tonight all were there to see a Spokane local favorite Tyrone Wells. Walking on stage tall and with a shaved head all the ladies were hollering. He has that pop/rock peaceful voice and can play the guitar charmingly. There is one neat thing about Spokane and its “Scene”, and that is that if a local artist makes it big everyone is proud of them and will support them. We just need Spokane to get excited about upcoming bands!

Tyrone played his music and also had everyone singing along to “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon. Plus not only were they singing their cell phones were flying around like lighters. Both boys and girls knew the lyrics to his music and were dancing along with their friends. You could see him look down in the crowd and smile at familiar faces he knew.

Tyrone played what a few crowd favorites like “All Broken Hearts” which was featured on One Tree Hill. The night was complete with enjoyable music, a positive crowd, and a lot of goofing around; even a ho-down with Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers. It’s cool to see a Spokane kid make it to this point and we wish him the best.
